Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Most kitchens take 5–8 weeks on site once cabinets arrive. Cabinets typically take 4–8 weeks to build after you approve the order — and we don't tear out your kitchen until they're in. Your target finish date goes in your contract.
What's included in your price?
Labor, construction materials and permits. Cabinets, countertops, appliances, tile, hardware and lighting are yours to choose and buy directly — so you control that budget completely and we don't mark anything up.
What if you find something behind the wall?
It happens — old wiring, rotted wood, or plumbing done wrong. You'll hear from us in writing within 24 hours with a price before we touch anything. Nothing gets added to your bill without your signature.
Can we live in the house during the remodel?
Yes, and almost everyone does. Before demo we set up a temporary spot for your fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and we seal off the work area so dust doesn't travel through the house.
Do you order the cabinets, or do I?
You choose and pay for them directly, so there's no markup from us. But we do the measuring and place the order on your behalf. A kitchen measured wrong is an expensive mistake, and it's not something we hand to a homeowner.
How do payments work?
50% when you accept the estimate — that reserves your slot and pays for permits and materials. 25% at rough construction and inspections. 25% at substantial completion.
